When your pet isn’t feeling themselves or you are worried about their health, we're here to help.

If you think your pet is sick, don't wait until your next wellness visit to address your concerns. Treating a sick pet is much easier (and usually less expensive) the sooner you bring them in. You may refer to our pain management scale to help you decide whether your pet should be seen by our team.

Reasons to Book a Sick Pet Visit

As a pet parent, you know better than anyone if something is not right. These are some common reasons to call us with your concerns:

  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • Changes in appetite or thirst
  • Persistent coughing or trouble breathing
  • Generalized weakness
  • Lethargy
  • Excessive whining, pacing, or shaking

What to Expect

During a phone call to the practice, we will schedule a medical appointment. Once you come in one of our veterinarians will complete a nose-to-tail physical exam, and complete any other essential testing.

Based on the initial exam and results from our tests we will develop a custom treatment plan and schedule any follow-up visits as necessary. For your convenience, we have partnered with a mobile internal medicine specialist to treat more complex cases.

While we aim to help all of our clients, we are unable to see urgent cases after 5 pm. Additionally, we cannot book appointments for snake bites, as we do not have antivenom readily available.

For emergency cases, we recommend visiting one of the local emergency pet hospitals:

If you are worried about your pet please call to speak to a member of the CCAH team today. We can accommodate most pets the same day.
